  • Ability to record operator contact information, emergency contact information and capabilities.
  • Ability to send BROADCAST message via the Server with the same reliability as standard messages.

Basic Client and Server functionality is provided without licensing the Client or Server, however Server database functionality requires registration of the Client.  The Emergency Service Packet Client can be registered by mailing your check or money order for $50, made payable Gwinnett County ARES, Inc., to Gwinnett County ARES, Inc., P. O. Box 2843, Lilburn, GA 30048. Be sure to include your call sign, to which the client will be registered, and your E-mail Address to which the registration code will be sent.

For those wishing to purchase client licenses as a group, you many order 10 or more copies in a single order for $40 per license.  Those groups registering 10 Client licenses will be eligible for a complimentary Server license once it is ready for distribution.  (More information about the Server will be posted later.)  Submit a complete list of callsigns and individual E-mail addresses for returning registration codes to the individuals.

The development of Emergency Service Packet Client is continuing. Registered users will be able to download updates containing minor upgrades and bug corrections at no additional cost. Notices of updates and upgrades will be sent via the Yahoo group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/emergencypacketclient/) reflector set up in support of the Client.
