Interested in attending an ARES meeting?

We would love to have you! Gwinnett County ARES hosts its regular monthly meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Whether you are a newly licensed technician, an experienced extra, or just curious about emergency communications, everyone is welcome and highly encouraged to attend.

Meeting Details

• When: The fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM local time.

• Where: The Gwinnett Emergency Operations Center (EOC), located at 800 Hi Hope Road in Lawrenceville.

• Talk-In Support: If you need directions or want to check your signal on the way in, talk-in is available on the GARS 2-meter repeater: 147.075+ MHz (PL 82.5).

Leadership & Planning

Our group is guided by the Planning Committee (PC), which includes the Emergency Coordinator (EC) and the Assistant ECs. The PC serves as our executive committee and board of directors, working behind the scenes to keep our training, public service events, and emergency readiness running smoothly.
