Field Day ARES and GARS

ARES and GARS support each other during this event. They combine to give an 8A station where everyone gets a

chance to operate SSB, CW, Digital modes. This event is held on the 4th full weekend in June every year. Setup begins at

0730 on Saturday and tear down begins at 1200 on Sunday depending on band conditions. For ARES, this is an qualifying

event. The ARES trailer will be onsite to provide the 20 meter SSB station.
